And yet, it resembles something of a village square as well. Full of restaurants, bars, dining, live music, bowling and a movie theater. What a great entertainment district!! Just steps from O'Hare airport and the outlet mall, spend hours enjoying this entertainment district. The city of Rosemont & MB Financial have done an outstanding job with this venue. Multi colored & changing lights are overhead & fireworks ends the evening. The park offers a friendly & safe enviroment for all including small children. We enjoyed Bavaria beer & dinner at the Hofbrauhaus, modeled after the original in Munich, Germany, in the biergarten (beer garden) just across the street (closed to traffic for the concert) with a good view of the stage. Several temp booths are in place for the concerts along with the permenante structures. They do not allow coolers, drinks or outside food in the park but there are numerous places to get eats & drinks. It has an artifical grass surface with picnic tables & seating bences near the stage area and an open area for portable chairs & blankets. A large parking garage is adjacent with direct access to the park. The park is newely constructed and surrounded by eatries, shops & entertainment venues. We attended a country concert, Radio Romance & Jukebox Mafia, part of the parks free summer concert series (Thursday nights is Rock).
